North Star Tax Appeals LLC is managed by two assessment appeal experts who have real estate and legal experience. They work closely with local appraisers and have a good rapport with the Board of Assessment Appeals.

Kelly Thomas

Owner

Kelly has been working with assessment appeal clients throughout Pennsylvania for the past several years. With her knowledge and client relationship experience, she has successfully assisted nearly 1,500 homeowners achieve tax savings. As owner, Kelly fields all inquiries, manages the evidence and valuation reports, and guides clients through the assessment appeals process. Prior to forming North Star, she was an instrumental team member in the success of McClellan Legal LLC. Kelly is dedicated to working for her clients to lower their property taxes and save them money.

Anita D’Amico

Anita M. D’Amico has been practicing law in Pennsylvania for fourteen (14) years. Since 2015, she has been the managing attorney of D’Amico Law, PC with offices in Kennett Square and Oxford, Pennsylvania. Among other areas of law, Anita practices real estate law and has handled tax assessment appeals for her clients for the entire time she has been admitted to the bar. Anita’s favorite part of practicing law is assisting her clients navigate through difficult situations and correcting matters that need to be addressed, including over assessed taxes.
